Obverse: Javanese Dancers from Djokjakarta at left and right.

Reverse: At left and right of the banknote, depicted the two scrolls in ornate floral guilloche rosette with warnings of punishment for forgery of banknotes:

  at left - in Javanese language.
  at right - in Arabic language.

At lower center of the banknote, depicted the rectangle flanked of two lions with warnings of punishment for forgery of banknotes:

  at left - in Dutch language.
  at right - in Mandarin (Chinese) language.

The title is repeated 3 times in different font sizes: "Het Namaken of verfalschen van bankbiljetten het opzettelijk uitgeven of in voorraad hebben van valsche of vervalschte bankbiljetten is strafbaar".
In English: "Deliberate falsification of banknotes or their storage and distribution will be punished by a fine."
