Currency of Kazakhstan 2000 Tenge banknote 2012 Kazakh Eli Monument

Obverse: The images are vertical. The main images are the "Kazak Eli" monument in Astana (representing the "independence of Kazakhstan" and the "Continuation of Generations") on the right side of the banknote, images of flying doves at the bottom in the middle. The bottom side shows saiga with the usage of optically variable ink. The upper part shows the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan: National Emblem of Kazakhstan and National Flag of Kazakhstan. The face value is printed at the left side at the upper part and at the bottom. In Kazakh the face value is shown in the middle left side. The name of the issuing bank in Kazakh «ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ» is placed in the upper right corner, under the name there is an inscription in the Kazakh language stating that counterfeiting banknotes is against the law.
Reverse: The images are horizontal. The main image is an outline map of Kazakhstan with the Irtysh River image. In the right part the holographic strip 13 mm wide with the image of the face value, the stylized yurt and a fragment of national flag is located. The face value is shown both on the lower left corner and upper right corner. The name of the issuing bank, in the Kazakh language, and the bank’s logo are in the middle of the upper half of the note. In the bottom left corner, on the white area, there is an inscription in Russian stating that counterfeiting banknotes is against the law.
Watermark: Image of the mythic «Samruk» bird and electrotype: 2000.

text and color-changing from yellow to green.

– fixed metal holographic security foil of 14 mm width.
Iridescent element:
– strip image of Saiga.
Security feature «Spark®» — element with an image of Saiga antelope printed in optically variable ink OVMI® located in the front side bottom center of the banknote, colour changes from green to gold viewed from different angles.
