Currency of Kazakhstan 10000 Tenge banknote 2012 Kazakh Eli Monument

Obverse: predominant images are vertical. The main images are the "Kazak Eli" monument in Astana (representing the "independence of Kazakhstan" and the "Continuation of Generations") on the right side of the banknote and images of flying pigeons at the bottom in the middle. The upper part shows the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan: National Emblem of Kazakhstan and National Flag of Kazakhstan. The face value is placed in digits at the bottom and top left, the face value literally in Kazakh is at the bottom in the middle. The inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ" (name of the issuing authority) is placed in the top left, above there is an inscription in the Kazakh language stating that counterfeiting banknotes is against the law.
Reverse: The images are horizontal. The main image is the Residence of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the background shows the contours of the map of Kazakhstan territory. The face value is placed in digits at the bottom on the left, at the top right and in the middle on the right, the face value literally in Russian is at the bottom in the middle. The inscription "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ" (name of the issuing authority) is placed at the top in the middle. In the top left corner, on the white area, there is an inscription in Russian stating that counterfeiting banknotes is against the law.
Watermark: Image of the mythic «Samruk» bird and electrotype: 10000.
Size: 149 mm х 79 mm.
Predominant colour is blue-violet.

– machine-readable thread embedded in the paper MRT-B/M of 0.75 mm width;
– security thread (foil) «StripChrome»® with an element, applied by blind embossing with a signature of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan 6 mm width;
– security thread «Optics™» of 18 mm width, demetallised polymer strip with an image and a numeral denomination of «10000» in a transparent window. Security feature «Spark®»
– located in the front side of the banknote, as an image of flying pigeon, printed in double curing ink with optically variable properties, colour: green-gold.
